TrueFit (“we”, “us”) helps you tailor your resume to a specific job. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to provide the service and never sell your data.

• Details you provide: your name, email, phone, and location, plus the resume file and job description you submit.
• Account data: if you create an account, your email and an encrypted password managed by our authentication provider.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — only a payment reference and status.
• Technical data: your IP address, used to prevent abuse and spam of our free tools.
• Messages: anything you send us through the contact form.

• To analyse your fit for a role and generate a tailored resume and cover letter.
• To create and secure your account and show your history.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of our free features.
• To respond to your enquiries.

To generate your analysis and tailored resume, the content of your resume and the job description are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. This content is used to produce your result and is not used by us to train models. Our tailoring is built only from information already present in your resume — we do not fabricate experience.

We share data only with the processors that run the service: our hosting and database provider, our authentication provider, our payment processor (Stripe), and our AI provider (Anthropic). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

One-off tailored resumes are available to download for 2 days, then archived. An active subscription keeps your resumes for as long as you remain subscribed. Uploaded files expire on a schedule and are deleted automatically. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Account page.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate secure checkout. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

You can access, correct, or delete your data. Account deletion (which erases your files and account) is available from the Account page. For any other request, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
